Rushworth Boot
Bespoke derby boots are a great favourite of ours, we make a lot of them. But these are particularly dear to our hearts. They are based on the Gilbert Hunting Boot which we made a ffew years ago for shooting and stalking. It has proved to be a popular style among our customers but this pair is the first we have made as a low ankle boot. We were uncertain how the proportion shift would affect the aesthetics of the style but we need not have worried. They are very handsome!
They have a soft almond toe and last with a high toe spring which gives that hint of a classic work boot. We think it works really well for this style
The uppers are made from Weinheimer Country Calf in Peat. And the lining is British Racing Green kid
They have oak bark tanned leather soles by Bakers; a storm welt and a hand built heel
The customer wanted a pair of boots he could wear round town; wear to work; and that would also function at the weekend. We think we have met the brief perfectly
