Pelman Button Boot

The Pelman button boot is an elegant button boot in a galosh style, with a soft reverse suede ankle and shrunken calf foot. This was a fantastic design project for us and the customer really enjoyed his input into the final look of the boots. He wanted an Edwardian button boot style with a 21st Century feel. We combined top quality reverse suede with a naturally shrunken calf skin. This process gives a completely random grain texture to the skin. The deep plum kid lining gives that frisson of pleasure to the wearer because nobody else but you sees it, one of the great things about bespoke shoes, hidden luxury! We found vintage resin buttons for authenticity and included a military ribbon tug enhance the attractive combination of textures in these handsome boots.

• MAKING Standard heel height; 1/4″ sole; bevelled waist; natural finish on sole, heels and edges
